Running for the Reds!

I'm back with a post now, after a super long long time.
Because I went to see the Reds at the Singapore River!
Omg! It was super cool.
I reached there around 1.15pm and waited around the river.
The whole place was reddish!
Haha of course u know why!
Waited for around half an hour then there were some tourist who were also sitting the boat, they pass by the river and were like pointing behind. Then everybody started to shout. Omg it was really awesome when they appeared from the under the overhead bridge.

Everyone started standing up and and run! Lol. It was quite unfair though because most people chased the first boat because Torres was there:) I was one of them though. It was really fun. I saw people running so i just started to follow, running and taking pictures and shouting. Gosh. It was absolutely crazy. They were all running like mad. I too ran all the to Liang Court and back to The Fullerton in heels and now I have blisters man, but its all worth it for Torres! It feels like 2.4 lol but except that now I'm running for Torres!

At one point, he took out his phone and started to take pictures! I was just standing right there and i waved at his camera :D Lol. I should have brought the poster of him and wave it at him instead! Everyone was so high man! And also at one point, I was just standing at a place where not many people were, and he was kind of looking at my direction! Lol. I smiled at him:)

If only I made it in time for Velocity@Novena yesterday then I might have gotten his signature! But I went to Vivo instead and then to Novena and everyone was gone by then. Sad:(
I'm so gonna miss Torres when he goes back to England. Hm when will he be back??
But today, I'm super happy.

Then right i think a lot of guys hated this movie unless those fans.

U know right i saw those reporter they rate the movie is like

the diff is so clear.

Coz one guy and one lady then the guy give 2 stars then the lady give 4 stars.

And the guy say about more dislikes than likes and the lady is opposite.

A review on the 1st June World Tour
It's so amazing.
Now im back again to the excited spirit :)

SINGAPORE : This was the concert of the year, at least in my books.

It was fourth time around for The Click Five in Singapore who brought their Modern Minds & Great Times World Tour to a screaming, sell-out crowd.

Performing ‘live’ is what The Click Five do best and the Boston five didn’t just live up to their tag of Band of the Year given by radio station 987FM, they delivered it in style.

This was clear from the moment the concert began with an opening video done by Charlie Guese, younger brother of lead guitarist Joe Guese. The silhouettes of the band set young hearts racing and climaxed with The Click Five in the flesh to the tune of Flipside.

Clad in skinny jeans, the boys looked sharper than the hugely participative crowd’s ear-splitting screams.

It wasn’t hard to guess why the finger-snapping lead singer, Kyle Patrick, was the hottest item of the night.

Like a seasoned performer, the newest member of The Click 5 was constantly teasing the crowd with sexy “oohs” and “aahs” while coaxing the crowd to join in the fun of the performance. Problem was, many girls were too busy swooning at the charmer’s nifty footwork and boundless energy.

Song after song, the pulsating pace of The Click 5 ran non-stop till they switched midway through the concert to perform a cover of I’m Looking Through You by The Beatles. It was a hark back to the sixties, where The Click 5 draw much inspiration from.

In introducing their new song, There You Are, the band gave it their all in an incredible performance. Kyle and keyboardist Ben Romans gave a good, slow build-up to what the audience was holding its collective breath for... the rock explosion. And when it came, the explosion in the crowd was just as electric.

Ben stoked the delirious frenzy, thumping his fingers on the keyboard like a man possessed, as Joey commanded the drums like his life depended on them.

Joey also stole the show during the solo spot for each member. His spellbinding drum solo and intense concentration seemed to transport him to a stage other than the one in little Singapore.

To the strains of Pump It Up,– “the man you feel in your bones” Bassist Ethan Mentzer – played the bass with a microphone stand while Ben “Mad Scientist” Romans shimmied and strutted around flamboyantly, wowing the audience with his head-banging antics standing on his keyboard.

By the end of the concert, almost everyone was on their feet, grooving to the final song of the evening, Headlight Disco.

For a select few however, the night was not over. There was time for a Click 5 Meet and Greet session for a lucky few who had bought their latest CD and found a backdoor pass tucked inside. As luck would have it, I bought a CD at the concert without any expectations. But lo, a golden ticket lay inside, for a chance to meet The Click 5, for a second time in one day.

My earlier encounter at the Gallery Hotel was less brief and an eye-opener into what makes The Click 5 tick.

While Singapore is a pit-stop for some acts, The Click Five pay special attention to Singapore.

“We love it here” said drummer Joey Zehr. “We think of Singapore as a base, a home away from home in Asia, just that we have been here so much and we have so many friends here, and it’s definitely one of our most successful markets here.”

The pressures of being on the road showed in Joey and lead guitarist Joe Guese, during their interview but the passion of performing and music runs deep. Fighting off fatigue they shared their appreciation of touring as back up or opening acts for bands such as KISS and Fleetwood Mac.

“We’ve really had cool opportunities playing with different bands … and learning how to tour cos there is an art to touring… and more than anything you get the inspiration from it.”

Their latest album “MODERN MINDS AND PASTIMES,” has been described by the group as a nod to Ray Charles’s classic 1962 album, “Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music.” They also say it’s as a reflection of their eclectic mix of styles dating back to the ’60s and everything in between in their ‘Modern Minds’.

It’s clear, the era before the lads were born is an age of influence.

As homage to the 60s, the quintet chose to look like the Beatles on the cover of their first single. Later, their first album featured a Beatles take with Just the Girl. And when asked who they’d like to perform on stage with if given the chance, the answer … the Beatles.

“We’d love to’ve been around for the Beatles years” said Joey. “In the present, we’d love to do something with Paul McCartney.”

The graduates of the prestigious Berklee School of Music are clearly masters of pure music. While admitting that technology has made recording easier for performers of today, Joe made clear “you don’t use technology as a crutch”.

Joey adds, “(Technology) can start to hurt your vibe because you get things too perfect… I think we’re getting to a place where our records are sounding more natural. This record is definitely a step forward in that direction, and I think we’ll just continue to go there, where it becomes more of a ‘live’ thing.”

The “more organic” mode of record production may include flaws, but based on their fan following and live performance at the Indoor Stadium, The Click 5 seem pretty perfect so far.

The Stars Shine Bright On The MTV Asia Awards Red Carpet

Those were just the selected screams heard over the hordes of screaming fans with various homemade signs ("Jared Leto, you are the map of the world!" and "MTV is back!") at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards red carpet.Of course, all of them were just out to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars and get a piece of them, be it photos or autographs to take home as precious keepsake!

The first celebs that graced the red carpet were MTV's very own VJ Utt, Denise, Taya, and Zhu Zhu. It was a huge reception, wholly proof that our VJs are hot entities in the hearts of the fans. Some fans even screamed "I love your dress! Nice shoes!" to the female VJs!

When the hot singing and dancing troupe Pussycat Dolls hit the walkway, all hell broke loose! Chants of "PCD!" and "Nicole!" were heard far and wide. And it didn't help that Korean super boyband, Super Junior, were hot on heels of the sexy ladies. The barricades nearly broke!

Kyle Patrick from The Click Five also whipped the fans up into frenzy when he pointed the microphone at them. Said drummer Joey Zehr: "It's pretty insane here!"

Up next, our very hosts Jared Leto and Karen Mok looked like a golden couple walking down the carpet together. Both of them were snapped up by the press for interviews but they didn't forget to mingle with the fans as well. "It's fantastic and such an honor to be here," said Jared.

And when the fans suddenly burst into the chorus of "Bleeding Love," it's pretty evident who has just walked in! Britain's songtress Leona Lewis definitely wowed the crowd with her long flowing golden tresses and affable personality.

As the red carpet event went on, artists like The Script ("We are really nervous to be here," said Danny O'Donoghue), Electrico, Stefanie Sun, Li Yu Chun, Nicholas Teo, OneRepublic, Panic At The Disco, Project E.A.R. all sashayed down the red carpet to meet all the fans and the press. Deafening screams, crazed looks, it was definitely part excitement and mostly mayhem!

man, the click five concert was totally cool last night.
yes it was totally mad and crazy
but i never buy the shirt cause it cost like 30-40 dollars
and i am seriously broke after paying for
the concert tickets. but i felt so wasted
why no one buy for me?! =(
i waited a while then they said we've got to wait for another 15 minute then they started to like introduce each member on the screen and oh man, everyone kept screaming like crap. And then after the whole screen thing, you see shadows of them on the screen and the cloth comes down and Kyle Patrick is like SOOOOOO CUTE because he kept hopping and running around the stage like a clown :D

and i tried to take picture of everything but my camera was like so blured and the memory is too little -.-
And yea, they started the concert with 'Flipside' and it got everyone so high that we started jumping up and down and singing along.Yea, well they performed many songs (Not in performance order)

Well, during the concert, Kyle said like,"You all are a beautiful crowd." And he took his bottle, splash water on everyone and threw his bottle and people start bending down for the bottle. But the second bottle was better, he drank from it then use the bottle to spray at the everyone then threw it and whoever picked it up, would probably like suck the bottle -_- And go like,"I kissed Kyle Patrick!!!"

Kyle would also like introduce them and they would like play their instrument. So he introduced lead guitarist, Joe Guese, then keyboardist, Ben Romans, then bassist, Ethan Mentzer, and finally drummer, Joey Zehr. The drums part was super cool ok, and during Headlight Disco, they would just keep playing music for a super long time and Joey would like just keep playing the drums as he drank his water and probably a cup of honey.

the concert was worth the money and kyle was so cute.
but i cant see the band member's faces clearly. gosh
cause i was like quite far away
if i bought the tickets nearer to the stage it would
be 98 dollars instaed of 68.
man, i love the click five
